The Fulton Market hotspot, the Tulum-inspired restaurant, Costera Cocina, immerses guests into a luxurious, jungle-like atmosphere. Costera tastefully uses an artful mix of exotic materials and custom detailing, flawlessly combining design styles of bohemian nightlife, the beach, and the Mayan Ruins. Upon entrance you’re instantly transported out of Chicago and into the jungle as you step onto the illuminated white pebble pathway, engaging you into the experience. Depending on the time of day, the space transforms from an intimate dining setting, to a lively nightlife experience using custom LED lighting and fog.

Centre Construction Group not only acted as the general contractor, but played a critical role in the design and crafted key solutions to make prime displays possible; including the 12 ft hanging rope centerpiece, wood benches, and the light up rock pathway. The design incorporates the use of ropes, rare woods, plants and thematic elements such as hanging monkeys, gorilla sconces, and intricate Mayan art, bringing the space to life.
